February 2009 Missing Link Technololgy is very pleased to anounce they were granted the US patent for the Cellruptor and the Alginator. The international patents are pending.

November 2008 Sam Shepherd consultant to Missing Link Technology, LLC and EcoSolids International presented groundbreaking technology crucial to the successful commercialization of algal growth, harvesting and oil extraction at the International forum of the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association (TREIA) conference in Austin, Texas.

MLT is very pleased to announce the new members to the management team for Algae to Energy, LLC, a subsidiary of MLT. Doug Dunlap has accepted the position of president of A2E and John Bolan has accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer.. Doug brings a wealth of experience in the Municipal Industry. He has spent his career as City Manager with a strong background in organization and governmental regulations. John is currently the President and CEO of Structured Finance Corporation of America, a company that he founded. John has extensive experience in finance and leading organizations in the manufacturing arena.

MLT through its partner Algae to Energy, LLC (“A2E”), is pleased to announce the signing of a 99 year lease on property and assets located at the Tri State Commerce Park in Tishomingo County, Ms. This site will be known as Energy Freedom Park www.energyfreedompark.com and will include all forms of commercially viable alternative energy concepts and processes. A2E will be installing power plant with CO2 sequestration using algae. The algae will be harvested and used as biomass fuel to supplement power generation.

MLT partners with Homestead Agrifuels, LLC to form BioVistas, LLC. BioVistas will construct an algal production and harvesting facility in Homestead, Fl.

MLT enters into negotiations with Tishomingo County to acquire property and assets for the development of an Alternative Energy Center strategically located in the center of the US.

MLT/EcoSolids International are appointed to the DARPA award winner General Atomics as a team member. MLT will be providing proprietary and IP to the development of algae to oil processes as required by the DARPA project goals.

MLT is included on 5 DARPA Teams. MLT will provide consulting and technology on oil extraction and algal harvesting for the production of oil from algae to be used as JP8 under the DoD DARPA Project.

October 2007 MLT is pleased to announce its invitation to participate in the UK Trade and Investment seminars being held in Houston, Atlanta and Coral Gables, Fl. MLT shall publicly present its algal technology and the current status of algae to energy concepts.

September 2007 MLT develops the Shepherd Harvester. This technology allows for the separation of algae from its hydraulic media without the necessity of pumping large quantities of water. This technology is proving crucial in development of scalable algal bioreactors that will contribute greatly to the full commercialization of algae to energy concepts.

MLT is pleased to announce the successful demonstration of the Alginator, a process that cost effectively removes proteins, carbohydrates and lipids from cellular material. The tests were conducted using chlorella vulgarus with complete cell destruction and lipid collection.

MLT develops the Optimal Photo Bioreactor for algal growth. This technology is patent pending and has proven to resolve problems with the autocatalytic rates associated with algae growth and nutrient control.

November 2006 11nth European Biosolids and Organic Resources Conference & Exhibition, Wakefield, 13-15 November 2006. MLT and EcoSolids jointly presents the successful findings and details of the Bug Buster trial at Yorkshire Water’s Old Whittington STW. This technology is commercially available. Further testing will be conducted on other eukaryotic organisms including algae and lignin based cellulosic materials.

MLT, through our International Partner, EcoSolids International Ltd, has signed an agreement with Yorkshire Water to install the world’s first commercial scale trials of the Bug Buster technology at the Old Whittington Sewage Treatment Works at Chesterfield, Great Britain. The trials are being managed by Ecosolids engineering partner Earth Tech Engineering and independently monitored by the Imperial College, London.

MLT develops technology that removes impurities from natural gas using the properties of methane hydrate formation. MLT has demonstrated the concept and has successfully produced pure methane hydrate from contaminated natural gas.
